Can't read master block? That sounds like you're trying to _extract_
with nulib rather than create an archive. Your syntax should be
something like the following (ignoring setting of file types):

	nulib cv newarch.shk file1 file2 file3

Or do you mean that the error is occuring once the archive is already
created and your friend is trying to extract it on the Apple?

If you need usage info, type 'nulib h'.

Unfortunately, nulib v3.25 is not currently built for MS-DOS as I don't
have an MS-DOS compiler. There is an older copy of nulib for MS-DOS
floating around (v3.23 or v3.24), but it sounds like you (Matthew)
already have it. It should work as long as you don't try to archive
more than 255 files (after which it may bring your machine down).

I would like to get nulib updated for MS-DOS and other platforms, but
there are other projects of higher priority right now (GNO-related).
Anyone who does not want to wait and wants to compile nulib for MS-DOS
*now* is free to do so, but please contact me first -- we don't want
more than one person doing it. I'll also tell you where the likely
problem areas are.
