I never have problems using netscape on unix, and then saving it. However, I
only use netscape occasionally.
Usually I dial into my unix account, start ftp or ncftp, GET files, and then
sz <filename> -u them to my GS. -u removes the file after a succesful
downlaod, so it can't corrupt the files...
