The latest version of the TurboMouse that was purported to work with the
IIgs was version 3. Since ver. 3 they have made ver. 4 and now have a
ver. 5 TurboMouse. I know that with versions 4 and 5 the TurboMouse on
the Mac makes extensive use of the software (Driver/INIT) to allow the
trackball to do all sorts of fancy tricks. However, I don't think anyone
has reported on csa2 using a version 4 or 5 with their IIgs.

So, the choppiness may be due to an ADB incompatibility and/or due to the
fact that you don't have the necessary software on the IIgs to control the
features of the TurboMouse.

If you have any progress let us know.

Maybe someone should start a "IIgs compatible mouse/trackball list" similar
to the list for ADB keyboards. Any takers?....
