[Tip: your news poster, 'cyberdog' posted the content of your
message twice, along with a bunch of extraneous formatting stuff. You
may want to check its configuration.]
Standard DOS 3.3 works fine on GSs; I've booted my GS off my DOS
3.3 System Master disk many times in the past week to check DOS 3.3
quirks out. Some very oddball hacked DOS 3.3's (especially
copyprotected games) using unsupported ROM entry points may refuse
to boot, but good copies of real DOS 3.3 should work just fine. Your
bootdisk may have deteriorated, however.
If you are having problems, it does help to provide as much
detail as possible. Does the disk chatter on bootup? Does it start
loading, or what? Any error messages reported?
