The keyboard switch will toggle the keyboard between QWERTY and Dvorak layouts.
The 80/40 switch sets a softswitch so that software that wants to can tell
if you don't want to use the 80 column display. This was included because
Apple expected people to use a TV as a monitor. Since it doesn't disable the
80 col display and most apps don't check it, it's pretty much useless. The
volume control moved to that spot on the //c plus.

You connect a composite video type display like the 9" monochrome and the //c
composite color monitor to the RCA. The DB15 port is for the oh-so-rare LCD
screen and an RF modulator. Video-7 is said to have made an RGB converter for
the port but fat chance finding one I'd say. Even then it'd be for the Apple
style digital RGB like the Monitor 100.
