Please help me! [IIGS/new printer]

I have an Apple IIGS that has been serving me faithfully for many years,
and I now need a new printer.  I have aquired a new inkjet pringer (a
Color StyleWriter 2500) and cannot get it to pring anything except the
test page..

I am using AppleWorks 3.0.  If anyone can help me get this to work, or
can help me get a new pringer that will work, I would be eternally
grateful.
