Becoming a IIgs Programmer

Toby Reiter from Oberlin college had a thread about where to find out
about programming the IIgs. This thread was earlier this month, but
here
is my $.02 worth....

Toby, contact ByteWorks and get a copy of "learn to program in C" or
"learn to program in Pascal". Follow this up with Mike's "toolbox
programming in C/Pascal" course, and you will have a good start.

I have dealt with Mike for a number of years. He is a first class
company, and his literature is very readable. You will also need a C
or Pascal compiler, which the ByteWorks will also be glad to sell you.
Given the value to your future to be able to say you can program in
either C or Pascal, the cost is minimal.

(This is _not_ a paid ad from ByteWorks! It is an unsolicited vote of
confidence from a very satisfied customer!)
