That's the nice thing about UNIX...just add the following to your .login file:

alias catalog ls -l | more
alias delete rm
alias prefix cd
alias rename mv

Of course, if you are working in DOS, you can accomplish the same thing by
adding specially written .BAT files to your \DOS directory...you know, 
catalog.bat
prefix.bat
delete.bat

The trick, of course, is that it requires some special batch-file
programming which is a little beyond me...
