I'm not sure where this statement is coming from but I have a GS
withe a Zip drive plus quantum hardrive (270 meg) and a CDrom drive
connected to an Apple HS SCSI and have no problems ejecting the zip
and inserting a new disk. The new disk comes up on the desk top just fine
all three partitions. Once in awhile if the zip has gone to sleep and
I exit a program when the desktop comes back up it will say it doesn't
recognize the first partition and asks if I want to format it. I choose
eject and reinsert the disk and everything comes up normal.
