Wrong.  The original Apple SCSI card firmware (used under ProDOS-8 only)
cannot handle removable SCSI hard drives.

The Apple High-Speed SCSI card firmware handles them fine.

GS/OS also handles them fine, with either card (it doesn't use the
firmware, except during boot).
