apple//e moniters

I have two color //e monitors one has a motorized screen that tilts and 
it says RGB monitor on the back. It can only be used with a Video 7
board thats in the computer... I have another that just plugs in
with the RCA jack in the back and needs no video card.... Is the Video
7 card good for anything other then using the RGB monitor.... Will i get 
enhanced graphics if i use the board. ?  The clarity and color are much
better on the monitor that plugs in via RCA jack... 
Also were those motorised moniters "tilt screen" popular..? this is the 
first one i have seen.  And it seems to have less picture quality then
the RCA  plug in monitor.......Thanks.....
