   Yes. There are a whole bunch of quirks of the Mac (boneheaded
insistence on resource forks, etc) that you'll need to watch out
for. However, there is a very nice guide to downloading Apple II files
thru Modems, Macs, PCs, etc. online, as part of the comp.sys.apple2
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ), archived online at

   The section on downloading is a bit big quote in every request; it
was posted to comp.sys.apple2 on the first of the month, or can be
emailed if you can't get to the WWW.
