Downloading IIe files using a Mac?

I have a Power Mac at home and my wife has a IIe in her classroom at
school. She inherited it and it has no real software on it. 

Is it possible to log onto the net (I have access w/my Mac) and download
IIe files using my Mac and then making the files usable to the IIe? Or,
do I have to log on w/a IIe to be able to get files? If I can use my
Mac, How do I go about it? HELP!!

I know I can format 800k 3.5 floppies as ProDos w/my Mac. So, if I could
download w/my Mac, then I should be able to at least copy files onto a
floppy that the IIe can read, right?

Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.
