ProDOS Error $5A "Baked bit-map"

I have a Laser 128 and RamFast. Today, I discovered that one of my
Appleworks files had been overwritten by nulls (Appleworks actually
crashed trying to load it in). Luckily, I have a backup copy of that
file.
Using Davex, I decided to delete the bad file and rename the backup. When
I tried this, though, I got prodos error $5A -- "baked bit-map" as the
friendly davex error table says. I then tested this hard drive with Mr.
Fixit, but didn't see any terrible-looking errors.
Any insight into what this error message means and what I can do about it?
