I missed the original post here but caught Nathan's reply. I have
one of those printers hooked up to my //e and it works fine there.
It emulates a 9 pin Epson FX quite well using the printers built
in fonts. Because it is a 24 pin printer graphics are stretched
vertically by about 20% using the Epson FX drivers.
It also works with Harmonies Epson LQ drivers. Both the 800 and
4000, I believe, it's been a while, I have a DeskJet hooked to
my IIgs now. If it doesn't work with both then it definately
works with one of them but you have to have the printer set
to emulate an Epson, it also emulates an IBM Proprinter.
It would be impossible for me to tell you how to change the
emulation, you would really need a manual. If you don't have one
