Have you tried shift-boot to clear your inits? I had crashing
problems associated with a screen saver/alarm clock once, and things work
fine since I inactivated it. Using Jumpstart 3.0 for years, I happily
launch AW 3.0, AWGS 1.1, ANSITerm, Hyperstudio, Tetris, etc etc from my
LaCie 170 Meg HD/ RAMFast 3.0.1e/ 4 Meg Sequential Sys RAM/ Sys 6.0.1/ ROM
01 IIGS, now printing to an HP Deskjet 600C through Harmonie/Grappler
