Download from where? Claris, division of Apple Computer sold AppleWorks to
Quality Computer, now Scranton Quality Computers St. Claire Shores, MI
(800-777-3642). You can purchase an upgrade to version 5.1 or 5.0
(depending on machine memory and disk drive type) from them. You are
entitled to use the versions you already paid for, if not sold or passed
on with your old Apple II, if sold. BTW, you'll be surprised with the
changes since the last version you used, if it was 3.0 or older.

Since they are still owners of it, downloading and using it, without pay
them, would be illegal under the current copyright laws.
