But why don't you mention anything about Bill Heineman?

And why didn't you realize much sooner that a complete rewrite of AWGS was
needed? Parts of the original source could have been re-used and/ or updated.
Writing a new program doesn't mean it still has to be compilable from the old
manually-patched version, does it?
