HELP:Modem to Laser 128/EX2 Cable

I need to make a cable to go from a Laser 128/EX2 to a standard DB-25
modem connector.  The laser is supposed to be a IIc+ clone but the modem
connector is a DIN-8 not a mini-DIN 8 as I had expected.  Does anyone
have pin-out information for the modem port on the Laser?  It looks like
the 5 pin IIc cable would physically plug into the port, but since the
port has more sockets than the IIc cable has pins, and since it is not
my computer I did not want to do anything I did not know was safe to
try.  

I would guess that a Laser Manual or the Proterm 3 manual would be good
places to look, but I have neither. Help would be greatly appreciated.
