   Solution: buy a video switchbox. I got one real cheap at a local
"Good Guys" store (sorta like a Circuit City or Rat Shack without the
base electronic parts) that takes in 3 RCA phono inputs. First was my
VCR, the second had the motherboard's RCA out, and the third was not
connected.  The output of that switch was fed into the VOC, allowing
me to change inputs, syncs, etc at will.
