Yep, I remembered the details after I responded before. The VOC is not
synced exactly to the motherboard video normally, so the exact timing of
the palette changing code required to show 3200 pics fails. The fix,
besides plugging your monitor back into the motherboard, is to get a
composite video cable and connect the IIgs composite out port to the
composite in port of the VOC. This allows the VOC to sync with the
motherboard video. I can't remember if I ever tried that, but I know I've
read about several times.
