Do you have a Video Overlay Card installed by chance?

When I have my monitor plugged into my VOC, 3200 colour graphics do
not get displayed properly.  This included The Tinies.

If you do have your monitor plugged into a VOC then just move the
monitor cable back to the motherboard and you will be able to see the
3200 colour graphics properly.
