I've wondered about that myself. :) The V30 on the PCT runs at 8 MHz.
JDR Microdevices sells both 8 & 10 MHz V30's. 10 MHz isn't screaming,
but it _is_ a 25% improvement! :) As I recall, though, there's only one
oscillator on the board. Changing it might speed up the CPU but also
screw up the video signal.
