Sen. Harkin from Iowa is trying to get us taxpayers to swallow this one: We need a computer for every 4 students in the public schools to access the Internet. Too bad they got rid of the great Apple II machines! Us old Apple II people are accessing the Internet with text just beautifully. AND no worry about children viewing pornographic materials! We can get there with 2400 baud modems, too.
