Re: Ramworks III (was: IIe sound problem)
I have the 3MB RamWorks in my IIe, and I'm here to tell you that I can't
imagine a useful function for more memory, either. Appleworks gets less
and less efficient with more and more memory (I have a 2MB desktop), and
the 3MB level is pushing the point where AW usually runs out of pointers
before it runs out of RAM, even at those inefficient levels. Also, it
takes FOREVER to do anything in a document that size. We ain't talking
100mhz here. <g>
