1) Contact hknet, ask them for a text based shell account.
2) Buy ProTERM or another GS terminal program (sources in the A2 FAQ)
3) Take the modem cable from your Mac and use it to connect the 14.4K
   modem to your GS's modem port.
4) Dial the number to the shell account.
5) You are on the net.  You can search the Web by typing "lynx".
