Four //e's and one GS won't boot

I have four //e's that won't boot:

	Two of them display vertical inverse bars on the screen and don't boot the 
drive.
	One of them shows horizontal bars consisting of two rows of "carriage returns" 
alternating with several rows of inverse bars displaying O's and doesn't boot the drive.
	One of them doesn't even turn on the power light even though I've tried a new 
power supply.
	The GS also doesn't turn on the power light even though I've tried a new power 
supply.

	I'd appreciate any advice.  My school district is in the heat of a Mac attack 
and us Apple // holdouts can't get the time of day.
