Re: CB developers

Hi Rich,

I've coded some simple projects in VHDL and I would like to chat with
others who are working with HDL and CB.

How many CB owners out there know HDL or are learning it?

Reasonably conversant with VHDL here.
Can follow verilog, but haven't used it enough to be able to write something in it..

As Steven said, time is my biggest shortage at the moment to do any Retro stuff.

I'm having
fun with VHDL, it took reading the books a few times and forgetting
about
the intimidation of learning a new "language". I have read about 7
books
about VHDL and finally found one that I could understand completely.

Which was the book you read where you had the "Ah-Ha" moment?

Now
the information in the other books makes sense as well.

I think it would be beneficial to share code, exchange ideas, and
perhaps
come up with a group project.

I would be interested in contributing to an "HDL with CB" tutorial to
get
other people acquainted with "programming" the card.

Sounds a good idea. Are you thinking of an online resource?

Cheers,
Red
