Waaay too wordy.  I read the whole set... some of them twice.

FPGA Prototyping by VHDL Example by Pong P. Chu, and was able to
finally understand it all.


I think most books describe too much in too many words.  IE: instead
of saying "put the disk in the drive", they write "put the square data
platter into the data reader box and then close the data reader box by
pushing down on the handle which is located on the front of the data
reader box".... ughhhh

I don't see how anyone could ever learn HDL without a background in
computer programming and electronics.
