That's right, I forgot about the blue disk card...

No, not with Apple Drives, again the Blue disk card slipped my mind.  
However, I didn't think that the Blue Disk Card allowed access to Apple 
drives... I thought the Blue Disk was solely for hooking up MFM drives 
(720k & 1.44 MB... and even 2.88MB, right?).  The limitation is therefore 
that if you hook up an IBM drive, you can't read 800k GCR disks, which 
are standard for the GS.  You need a SuperDrive card & Superdrive for that..
However, if you've got a SuperDrive set-up, you can't use an MFM 5.25 
drive, so no go on that.  What I was thinking about was a revised 
controller card and Drive that would essentially allow GCR/MFM access 
from one drive, and a corresponding FST.  It would be possible, but it
could never happen anymore.  (like I said, I can *dream* can't I?) 8-)

Yeah, but it would be a nice *option* for those who can... like it is on the 
Mac.  there are times this would be a real timesaver for me.
