Exactly what it says.  Fits into the AUXILIARY slot of an Apple //e;
provides 80-column text and turns that there 64k machine into a 128k machine.

As it says...this will let you use any 9-pin Apple mouse (such as a Lisa
mouse, Macintosh pre-ADB mouse, Mouse //c, or even a ][e Mouse) on a
slotted ][.  No special driver software; Apple didn't do device drivers
for the ][ until the GS came along...if the software package says
"supports (or requires) a mouse" this is what it is looking for.

This is one of two things, depending on what ROM is installed.  This is a
Slot 0 card for an Apple ][ or ][+.  If the ROM on the card is Integer
BASIC, then the card is a ROM card for an Apple ][+ to give it ROM-based
Integer BASIC as found on the ][.  If the ROM is filled with Applesoft,
then the card is for an Apple ][ and gives it Applesoft BASIC in ROM. 
There may also have been a PASCAL ROM card, but I am not familiar with
that one if it does exist.  The switch is to select whether the computer
will default to the card ROM or to the motherboard ROM on power-up; if you
are using DOS (Must use DOS 3.3 with a ROM card, since the machine will be
48k maximum RAM...no place for ProDOS to live), than the DOS FP and INT
commands will choose the ROM Set for you.
