: Yes. They made the Apple ColorMonitor (there were //c and //e
: versions--identical, except one was white, and the other, brown).
They weren't identical. The beige one is made to sit on a //e and the white
one can sit on top of a IIgs or on a stand meant for use with a //c or
//c plus. It looks the same shape wise as the IIgs monochrome monitor.
They both became grey when all Apple stuff changed to grey.
: They also made a big, heavy, motorized RGB screen called (I think) the
: AppleColor 100.
Applecolor Monitor 100 to be precise

Yep either the extended 80 col/Applecolor card or a RAMworks w/RGB interface
[snip]
: You can plug an Apple //-series computer into just about anywhere you
: see "Video In", like on VCRs.
The other way around too. I have a //e style composite color monitor sitting
in my computer room and run a really long RCA to it from the TV in the living
room when I want to compute and watch the tube at the same time. A friend of
mine bought a complete //e system for $80 just to get the monitor so he
can use it that way too. I get the rest, pretty cool, another grey //e for
the collection.
