If someone wants to write a GS program to generate the tones, I'll happily
post the frequencies here. I'm currently writing such a program for
my palmtop.
However, boxing in the US is a dead art. You'll be hard-pressed to find
a switch that will respond to your tones as all the signalling is done
out-of-band now over seperate CO data links. Your best bet would be to
generate the red-box tones, transfer them to a cassette tape and then go
to your friendly local (Bell) payphone and have fun. But even then, you're
no longer guaranteed success because of their new payphones which are
resistant to red box tones.
