It's only possible to do a low level format on a III and you need special
software and a special PROM to swap into the profile to do it. The III
profile card won't work in a II. Luckily I'm about to get a II profile card
in my hot little hands so I can maintain the profiles on my IIIs. With a
little more luck maybe one of my profiles will still have the PROM in it and
I can get the formatting software.
