][gs Tech Problem

Since dragging my ][gs out of my shed last week, I am attempting to
bring it to life again. I have gotten it to boot once from the disk
drive, but ever since then I havn't gotten it to boot. When I turn it
on, it goes thru a "system check" and funny stuff flashes all over the
screen in somekind of infinite loop. I've tried starting it doing a
number of different things, but it won't even recognize the disk drive.
As well, I can't find ANYONE in town who still supports Apple2 gear.
It's a Woz with a meg of ram, and i believe it still has rom 0 on it.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
