One nice feature of the Computer Eyes card is the ability to save raw
image data in 6-bit color, wherease the AST card is limited to 4 bit
color. Although the GS can only display 4 bit image data (really only
grays with that depth) the extra depth is really valuable for image
processing. I'm still hoping that the Second Sight card will eventually
suport the Computer Eyes raw image data format.
