Unfortunately, the answer is "Maybe" ... sigh.
SOME programs just want the 65C02 additional instructions, and they will
work fine. SOME want MouseText, and whereas they'll RUN, you'll have a
dickens of a time deciphering the screen. SOME want the enhanced ROMs, and
for those, you need the full kit.
Do keep your eyes open - I've seen complete //es, with monitor and Disk
][s or UniDisk 5.25s for under $100 at garage sales (spotted one for $10,
WITH composite monitor WITH audio inputs ... just perfect for that old VCR
in the back!)
