I have an unenhanced IIe and would like to be able to run programs that require an enhanced IIe. Does anyone know if I can get away with just replacing the 6502 CPU in my computer with a 65C02 chip (which I can get for $6), or do I need to spend around $50 for the enhancement kit (which I definitely do not want to do).
