Conversion of PFS files

I am in need of expert assistance. I am/have been an Apple user since
Apple II, graduated to II+, IIe, & now GS. My main thing is collecting
recipes, and waaaayyyy back started using Personal Filing System (PFS)
Though a bit bunglesome, at the time, it was about the best thing
going. Being one, slow to change, I kept on using it as I upgraded
computers.
Now I have moved into (whisper) COMPAQ & MS DOS, using my Apple GS
as backup for anything important. (I know whatever goes into an Apple
is there forever, unlike IBM-Ms DOS based machines where the norm is
here today and gone tomorrow, but....Recipe database programs are only
to be found in MS.
What I would like is information on how I can convert thousands of
PFS recipe files to DOS ascii files. My GS has a modem (never used) as
does my COMPAQ.
  Who has the answer??
Many thanX to anyone that might help.
