I ain't even about to enter this go-round, God knows I'm getting all I can
stomach from those who don't know that the rainbow Apple logo signifies an
Apple product. I'm just curious about the statement that people downloading
ancient software are harming current developers. Is there anyone still writing
software who has stuff on this site? I'd say it's more likely that authors
would be flattered to know people are still interested in their stuff, were
they to find out. If people are discouraged from writing software because
they fear where it will end up ten years from now, I can see why one would
say this. Short of that, I don't get why.

Seems to me that people who want out of print software to remain inaccessible
are of the same mindset as people who think pieces of the Titanic wreck should
be left on the bottom of the ocean. As a memorial they say. Fat lot of good
that is when no one can visit it.
: Think about it. And, don't copy that floppy!
So is any serious effort going on to get permission to distribute this stuff?
