   Could you be a little more precise about "it won't work"? Does the
system never see the drive? Does the finder list the drive, but never
see any contents in it? 

   What I'd recommend checking first is if Slot 6 is set to "Your Card"
in the Control panel (ctrl-open-apple-escape to start). If it is, the
system won't recognize 5.25" drives plugged into the disk port in
the back of the computer.
