Spectrum vs. Porterm

A lot of people have been asking about a telecom program to buy for their
IIgs.  I've seen many people say buy Proterm, its the best.  I would agree
with this statement on one condition, if you don't own a hard drive.

If you do have one, then Spectrum 2.1 is for you.  Spectrum does everything
Proterm can do and more.  Spectrum is still widely supported and has been
recently upgraded.  When was the last time Proterm was worked on? 3.1 has
been around a while.  Spectrum is GS/OS compatable and has the desktop and
click & point feel that the Finder has.  Also it has the text based online
display like Proterm, for faster scrolling of text.  Like Proterm, Specturm
offers Ansi emulation as well.

I have used both and own both.  But my heart is with Spectrum, it offers so
much more.  Other programs have written that can be used with it like
Balloon 2.0.  Spectrum was also labeled  as one of the best telecom ware for
ANY computer platform (Mac and PC included!)

Anyone looking to buy a telecom soft. should seriously consider Spectrum!
