Following the "deep pockets" logic, the party most likely to get sued
would be the company that pressed the CD.  I can't believe that any
reputable domestic company would even dream about pressing a CD full 
of pirated software.

In the past two years in Southern California, the prosecutors have
been going full tilt against importers of foreign CD's filled with
pirated programs.  I believe that not only are there lawsuits involved,
but there's jail time too (not to mention the physical damage caused
by having the SWAT team storm your house - er, I mean distribution
center - in the middle of the night).  I'll try to look up what the penalties
involved were.
