Ah, but wait there's more! (You can't buy it in any store! :)
That is a network card. See the three pin connector near the front.
Thats the network. It's a serial type network. You can even pull the
connector OFF during a transmission, reverse it and put it back. It
will pick right up where it left off. I kid you not.
...and he's right on the part about not being of any use.. unless you have
the Corvus OmniDrive its no good to you. Even then, they don't work in
fast speed on the IIgs, and there is no GS/OS support for the network.
