    I agree, there are certain cases where there are expections to the
rule. Announcement of new Apple II products has generally been acceptable
on comp.sys.apple2, so long as it's not overly excessive (once every three
months for example is fine, though daily or even weekly postings is *not*).

    Now, I just wish people would be as concerned about mispostings to the
'comp.binaries.apple2' group. Off-topic posts to that group has reached an
all-time high. I see questions about the Macintosh, Apple II emulators,
on-going dicussions, requests for software and worse, people following-up
to these messages contributing to the problem! If you don't have a binary
posting (Binscii preferred) or a message discription of the file, please
abstain from posting to cba2. There are _very_ rare instances where one
should break this rule.
