Er... No. First of all, there are (as has already been mentioned) DOS 3.3,
DOS 3.2, and countless other proprietary OS's used in games and such...
Second, even under ProDOS, BASIC.SYSTEM is not necessary - just PRODOS and
any SYS file with a name ending in .SYSTEM (which will be run by PRODOS
after it loads)... BASIC.SYSTEM is only necessary when one wants to use a
BASIC environment which has access to ProDOS commands such as "bye", "cat",
"load", "save", etc...
