--> Thanks for the information, folks...
    I now have most of the info I need to tackle this process. I find it
    fascinating (the actual steps, themselves) and will likely enjoy
    experiencing them even more than the end-results. Seeing some of
    my old IIe games up on my PC will just be icing on the cake.
