the renaming the file could work, that is what i was figuring was
happening with uploading it to a filehost.  i would use ADP Pro if i
had the money to buy the cables and the USB adapter, but i dont at
the minute.

Shrinkit didn't want to do anything with the sdk or SHK files if i
didn't fix the filetype, it would show a error.

Use 8-bit (ProDOS) ShrinkIt--it will happily open any file type as
an archive (if it actually is one).  Open Apple (Command)-S will
(S)how all files for selection.

As long as you are unShrinking disk images, you don't have to worry
about resource fork handling--the disks created will be exactly as
they were shrunk, regardless of OS.
