With a USB adapter and a null modem cable you could hook a modern
computer to the GS and dispense with all the extra steps - ADTPro
could just send the .2mg files directly to the GS' floppy drive.

Or, as Andy McFadden pointed out, CiderPress could strip the .2mg
header off the image and make it palatable to DiskCopy.  But that's
more of those steps...
