To translate a goodly portion of the disk images on Asimov to actual 5.25"
disks would be a relatively time-consuming task, and could only be
accomplished by someone with copious amounts of free time.

Uh, I own 3 //c's and Black Cauldron, among many many others.
How is it that you propose I transfer Black Cauldron to my Mac to play it?
Perhaps you've heard of copy protection?
Yeah, Copy II Plus can make copies, but those copies are likewise
protected.
I never subscribed to that magazine which described how to actually
remove the copy protection from those commercial programs way back when,
and really I have no resources available to me to get the program onto the
emulator.
I can't believe the conversation has evolved to this point without people
realizing that the only way people such as myself can run software I own
in an emulator is through a cracked copy!!
(Of thw few games that work as bit-copies, I have yet to make them work in
an emulator)

Everyone, stop wasting your lives with this.
Go out into the world, get off your keyboards, and try and make a real
positive difference for a change, a large contribution.
This is a non-issue.
Or not.
Whatever.

Just my 1/50 of a $1
